Optical Rug

This Olive and Black hand tufted rug is made from wool yarn, shot into a stretched canvas to create the design and then secured with a latex backing. It's a bit like painting onto canvas, but using yarn instead of paint.... this design was inspired by traditional Javanese textiles. Its made in 100% New Zealand wool. Makes a striking focal point for any room.
