We use several different techniques for making rugs.All our hand knotted rugs are made using the cottage industry in the specialist rug district of Varanasi in India. Our rugs are made using the finest quality New Zealand wool on a traditional loom.
Our hand tufted rugs are made by shooting wool yarn into a stretched canvas to create the design and then secured with a latex backing. It’s a bit like painting onto canvas, but using yarn instead of paint.
