Harlequin Linen Throw

Grey Tones

These intricate throws are reminiscent of Modernist paintings and sit beautifully alongside mid century modern furniture. The geometric pattern has its roots in the age-old craft of patchworking. The natural linen surface is adorned with fragmented sections of intricate wool crewel embroidery. This hand stitching technique follows the contour of the design and emphasises the shape of the motif in chain stitch, creating a raised textural quality.

The design is reversible, making it versatile and really special. Our crewel embroidered designs are made by skilled artisans in Kashmir, North India, an area renowned for this intricate hand craft.
