The Hepworth cushion collection is inspired by the sculptures of its namesake 'Barbara Hepworth'. An inspirational woman who achieved great prominence in her generation. Part of the St Ives group of modernist artists, who have left a lasting legacy in this Cornish town and beyond. Each cushion has a striking modern organic embroidered motif with a natural linen reverse. The cushions use a couching stitch that catches the wool onto the surface of the natural linen base cloth, creating a raised textural quality.
