Our two colour Teja Rug is intricately hand woven by skilled craftsmen using the ‘Tibetan knot’ technique, produced in Kathmandu valley in Nepal. Hand knotted using 100% New Zealand Wool, which is renowned to be of high quality. A pure quality soft wool that takes dye colours well and allows for bright saturated tones. Our artisans use ancient hand carving techniques to create a high and low pile effect which emphasises the motif, bringing textural interest to the design.
Our rugs are produced under the GoodWeave label, which ensures that no child, forced or bonded labour is used in the making of our certified rugs. In addition your purchase supports programs that educate children and ensure decent workplace conditions for adults.
