D. Barbero has been creating exquisite chocolates since 1881. Located in Piedmont, the family-run confectionery has been using the same old recipes, local raw materials and artisan techniques in all these years.
Barbero Torroneria (nougat factory) has a long tradition of producing the finest nougat (torrone), too, but not the kind that sticks to the teeth. This nougat, in many of its delicious varieties, is soft and succulent, and uses Piedmont hazelnuts, which have Protected Designation of Origin status and toasted on the Asti premises in Northern Italy.
